Hi All,
As we prepare for the start of the season next Monday, Nov. 8th, I wanted to get a few items of information out there to get a jump on things.
1) Physicals/Insurance:
Just one more reminder that the kids need to get their physicals completed and all required paperwork turned in to Ms. Arata in the Student Store ASAP. Athletes are not allowed to practice with it being done. (See previous email regarding all requirements)
2) Parent Meeting:
We will have our preseason Parent's meeting/orientation on Wed. Nov. 17th at 6:00pm in the cafeteria. This meeting is very important and I hope you will plan to attend. As usual we will do general business that concerns all parents in the beginning and then will have an orientation aimed at parents of new team members immediately following.
3) Volunteer Driver Insurance Form:
Most of our travel is done in private cars and we rely on the kindness of parents to help provide that service for us. School policy REQUIRES that any person transporting athletes/students to any event fill out and have on record a Volunteer Driver Form C to show proof of sufficient insurance coverage. I have attached a copy of this form and anyone that may plan to help us drive wrestlers should fill out the form and return to Jody Pruitt in the Main Office at the high school prior to the beginning of competitions (Dec. 1). This form will also be available on our website
4) Use of the Healdsburg Wrestling website
The form discussed above as well as most (or all) other forms requiring completion by parents or team members, along with most other team related information will be available on our team website (www.healdsburgwrestling.com). I also plan to have a tentative practice calendar available on the site so you can keep up on practice times, especially as it relates to the holidays. I am currently working with my web guy to get all of the updated information gathered and uploaded to the site. Please feel free to take advantage of this service
